Marc Buker

Born in 1967, Marc Markar Buker has French, Turkish and Armenian identities. Graduated from the Saint-Joseph French Lycée of Istanbul, he has a Masters degree in International Business Law of the University of Sorbonne, Paris. He has been journalist in Paris and Strasbourg focused on European policies, then a pioneer of the Turkish private media sector in early 1992 and has served as board member in a media group operating magazines, radio and television channels. Since 2002, he has been carrying management positions within world-leading companies offering financial or pioneering solutions in an area comprising the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.

He is one of the founders of ADAP in 2002 and its Co-President. He is also founder and President, since 1989, of "Union des Anciens Elèves des Ecoles Françaises de Turquie" (Union of Alumnis of Turkey's French Schools) and board member of "Comité France -Turquie", based in Paris. He also serves as senior advisor to the Eurasian think tank “Bab-i Ali Toplantilari”, based in Istanbul. He is a regular columnist on Middle East geostrategy.
