Hiroko Tsuchiya
Born in Japan, Hiroko started her study of piano at the age of 4. After
obtaining a bachelors degree in performance piano from the Aichi Prefectural
University of Fine Arts and Music, she decided to move to France to continue
her studies at l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. She studied with Hüseyin
Sermet and Edson Elias and obtained a piano diploma with honors.
The next year she also earned a chamber music diploma. She then
continued her studies in masterclasses with Christian Ivaldi and Régis
Pasquier as a chamber musician. She regularly gives chamber music concerts.
Hiroko has a passion for the art song repertory and performs
recitals collaborated by a vocalist. She has been trained in the "Art du
Récital", the interpretation of a poem set to music and
has most recently obtained a Masters degree from the University Paris III
Nouvelle Sorbonne.
